To conduct strategy sessions in preparation for negotiations with non-union personnel or to conduct collective bargaining sessions or contract negotiations with non-union personnel  – Police Lieutenant

To discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining or litigation if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining or litigating position of the public body and the chair so declares –Administrative Professionals Union

Announcements
The Board is seeking volunteers to serve on the following committees:  Finance, Nathaniel Thomas Mill, Recreation, North River Commission, Zoning By-law Committee.  If you are interested in serving, please complete an Application for Appointment which can be downloaded from the town website www.hanson-ma.gov under Citizens’ Library

The Hanson Holiday Committee will be hosting a Summer Kick Off event on Saturday, July 12th from  6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Town Hall Green.  This is a Free event and the public is welcome.    

Town Clerk’s Office will close at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 17th.  The office will also be closed on Friday, July 18 and Friday, July 25th.  Please plan your business accordingly.

On August 12th, 2014 at 6:30 PM Hanson Kiwanis and Hanson Rotary will be hosting a fundraiser at Camp Kiwanee in Hanson. 100% of the proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to the Hanson Food Pantry (HFP).~ More details on how to purchase tickets will be forthcoming. If you or someone you know owns a business, please consider donating gift certificates for goods/services for our raffle and silent auction.
